Below is my guilty pleasure reading for the fall!
Fedegraphica: A Graphic Biography of the Genius of Roger Federer by Mark Hodgkinson(2016)
Oh, groan, nothing’s worse than an unauthorized biography (well, maybe a ghost-written authorized one). But, if you’re a Federer fanatic, this book is candy. As its title suggests, it’s a short biography of Federer, with emphasis on his on court feats coming alive in images. It’s loaded with images and illustrated statistics, as well as stories from Federer’s junior days and his ascendance on the pro tour as he came to dominate the game. My favorite chapter: “Mozart Versus Metallica.” Very fitting.
